6:00 PM Home Haunting 101: With Al Schwartz
This seminar will give you tips and tricks on how to start home haunting both indoors and out. From basic design to operation this seminar should give you some good ideas on how to start, fund, and operate a small haunted house in your home or yard. This seminar will also provide some incite into the HorrorFind Haunted House; how it got started and how it can be used as a model for home haunting.

7:00 PM Haunted Hayride Basics: With David Heck
Do you have 60 acres of land and a tractor and not a thing to do this October? Well you are already running late! Your first haunted hayride can be a big hit or a complete disaster. It all depends on what you can do right, and mistakes you can avoid.

8:00 PM Las Vegas Style Hypnotism Show

10:00 AM Make-Up Challenge
A three person team competition, (two artist, one victim) working against the clock and limited make-up supplies. Hosted by Make-up artist and M/C Steve Myers. Space will be limited, rules and how to sign up to follow.

11:00 AM Midnight Syndicate and "The Dead Matter" movie history and Q&A with Edward Douglas
Horror director and composer Edward Douglas will speak about the beginnings of the Halloween / "Haunted House" band Midnight Syndicate and the original 1996 version of "The Dead Matter" up to present day including the upcoming remake co-produced by Midnight Syndicate Films and Robert Kurtzman's Precinct 13 Entertainment. A short Q&A session to follow.
This is Edward Douglas’ first ever presentation on the history, influences and origins of Midnight Syndicate and The Dead Matter.

12:00 PM CORPSES BY THE BUNCH: With Sharon Titus (Peacefulghoul) and Deborah Strauss
Corpses By the Bunch have been making corpses for going on 8 years. Having tried the traditional way and realizing, beside the stench and the legality’s, it was just to messy. We took the hands on approach and combined several different methods to create what we do now. At our little seminar you'll get a brief history of the different techniques and see first hand how our body’s don't come to life. Our corpses are like those freshly dug up having been under ground for a few years. No blood or ooze. Just a nice decaying, odorless body ready for coffin or to sit and watch the game with you.

1:00 PM Stunts For Low Budget Films and Haunted Houses
By Stunt Coordinator, Jack Harrison
This is a presentation on action acting and simple stunts that can be applied safely and inexpensively for maximum effect for either a film or even a live audience; such as haunted houses. Time will also be devoted to safety concerns, many different types of effects possible, basic equipment that can be utilized, as well as when to consult the professionals. This will be a presentation with illustrations, stills, and videos for your enjoyment courteous of the ON 3! STUNT TEAM and FEARMAKERS.

2:00 PM Acting and Auditioning For Independent Horror Films: With published Horror Film Director Joe Ripple.
Ever wanted to be in a horror film? Ever thought about making a horror film? In this two hour seminar, published horror film director Joe Ripple of Timewarp Films provides insight on the "dos and don'ts" - everything from the auditions to the completed project. This seminar has a special emphasis on safety for the actor.

5:00 PM "You always hurt the ones you love... at least 100 times: Stage combat in a Haunted Attraction" With David Heck
Implied harm and twisted violence is the cornerstone of almost all haunted attractions. Learn some basic techniques to keep your actors and patrons safe, as well as helping your hulking killer not look like a limp wrested sissy girl.

6:00 PM The Zen Method of Haunted House Management: With Wendy “Wickdella” Brown of Wickadella Creations.

The logistics of running a haunted house can be maddening and give you a since of being out of control at times. In this seminar, Wickadella of DarkWood Manor will show you a management philosophy that will give you the tools to run a haunt with no stress and suffering. This hands-on workshop will show you how to organize volunteers, your haunt and other management procedures that will make construction, makeup, costuming and acting run smoothly and effortlessly as a calm mountain stream.
