General Directions:
From BWI Airport:
Take I-195 West to I-95 North. Follow I-95 to I-695 (the Baltimore Beltway).
Take I-695 North towards Towson (Left-lane exit!).
From I-695, take the I-83 exit North towards York, PA.
From Pennsylvania & points north:
Take I-95 South to I-695. Take the I-695 exit West towards Towson.
From I-695, take the I-83 exit North towards York, PA.
From Washington, DC & points south:
Take I-95 North until you reach I-695. Take the left-lane exit North towards
Towson onto I-695. From I-695, take I-83 North towards York, PA.
After you take the I-83N exit from I-695:
Five miles North of the I-695/I-83 interchange is exit 20, for Shawan Road East.
Take this exit, the hotel is at the bottom of the ramp on the right.

The arrival station is Penn Station located in downtown Baltimore.

It might be cheaper to get the shuttle (below) from the airport if your train stops at the airport. From the train station, you will need to take a cab, or take the light rail (below). Other possible train services include the MARC Train (see MTA, below), and the Metroliner (same phone as AMTRAK).

Several shuttle services provide transportation from the airport to the Hunt Valley Inn & possibly to nearby hotels. The prices quoted below are for trips between the BWI airport and the Marriott's Hunt Valley Inn. Please confirm price when making your reservation as things can change on short notice.
SuperShuttle:
Counter located at the airport between baggage claims 6 and 7.
Cost: $28 for the first person, $10 for each additional person (up to 5 people)
6-7 people a $75 flat rate (exclusive van service, i.e. no other riders will share)
Request the suburban route to avoid downtown.

Airport Shuttle:

There are no pickups between midnight and 4am on any day.
Baltimore Airport Shuttle:

Cost: $35 for the first person, $5 for each additional (up to 7 people)
There are 2 vans for up to 11 people.
A credit card is needed secure reservations, but you don't have to pay that way.

Cost: $55 for a sedan (1 to 4 people) & $60 for a limousine (up to 6 people).
Taxi:
There are plenty of taxis around the airport. Pricing varies.
Greyhound:
Arrive in downtown Baltimore at 210 West Fayette Street
(not the best neighborhood - arrival/departure late at night not reccommended)

From there you can catch the Light Rail to Hunt Valley.
MTA:
There are no bus stops right by the Hunt Valley Inn. The #8 bus goes to the Hunt Valley area.
The Light Rail has been extended to the Hunt Valley Mall in the northern direction, & to BWI
in the southern direction. The transfers, however, aren't straightforward.
To get from BWI to Hunt Valley:
Take one Light Rail from BWI to Camden Yards, then transfer to another Light Rail going to Hunt Valley
(Note: the second Light Rail leaves 8 minutes after the first one arrives).
To get from Penn Station to Hunt Valley:
Take the Light Rail at Penn Station and get off at the first stop (University of Baltimore/Mount Royal),
cross the tracks to the other side (northbound) & get a train going to Hunt Valley. The station at Hunt Valley
is at the intersection of Shawan Road and York Road, which is about 3 blocks from the hotel.
Call the hotel to ask them to pick you up there. If the van is available, they will do that, otherwise you need to
walk 3 blocks west on Shawan Road to get to the hotel. Bring a travel dolly if you have suitcases. Check with the
